Conceptualization, design and final art production for online content based around TV shows, or which supports the online content offering for various TV networks. This could range from simple graphic banners, to webpage designs, and to small or large-scale interactive Flash content pieces.
Must adhere to established site design standards, work within templates where required, and be able to take art direction
Work well with other team members (which include producers, media editors, and HTML developers as well as the creative director and senior designers) in accomplishing editorial and creative objectives within the scope and timeframe of the project.
The desired candidate should meet the following requirements:
A minimum of 4 years in a graphic design or visual communication degree program, ideally resulting in a BFA or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years design experience, with at least 2 year(s) web design experience
Very strong sensibilities working with typography and imagery
Strong proficiency with Photoshop
Proficiency with Flash, with at least a basic understanding of ActionScript, and working with XML files
Experience in other applications such as Adobe Illustrator or Fireworks very helpful.
Experience working with a content management system for uploading files
