WEBINAR DETAILS: How do you make Web 2.0 work for your agency? Is standing up individual tools (blogs, wikis, social media site pages, etc.) enough? We’ll talk about how to transform the successes of individual tools into a cohesive Web 2.0 strategy that reflects the needs of citizens and the goals of stakeholders. We’ll provide actionable tips about how to get started, and how to frame the issues for agency leadership.
During this session you’ll learn:
* What are the tools – but more importantly, how should they be applied, with whom, when, and to what end? * How to think about these issues from the eyes of the citizen * Identifying when “2.0” makes absolutely no sense * Examples of success and failure in the federal government and what we can learn from others’ experiments in social media * Case Study: How to begin to formulate a social media strategy
